Helen Foster lived in Feltham, Middlesex, with her two daughters, Laura Jane and Megan Joanne. She was a beautiful person inside and out, a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend.
In October 2001 Helen was diagnosed with lung cancer, which tragically took her life just a few weeks later on Sunday 9th December 2001, the day before her 30th birthday. She died with all her family around her and is finally at peace from this terrible disease.
Throughout her battle with the disease Helen remained strong and positive, if not for herself but her family. She never complained and dealt with her battle courageously and with amazing dignity. She was an inspiration, a true fighter, a woman with the most amazing personality - even in her most darkest days, she wore her smile. She was funny, cheeky and always more worried about others than herself. Her family were her world and would have done anything for anyone of them.
Helen, you will never be forgotten. Your parents, Eileen and George, sisters, Jayne and Joanne and brother Steve are doing the best job in bringing up and looking after your beloved girls, who are absolutely beautiful. Laura especially resembles you so much in every way. Both are bright, intelligent girls, who will do just fine in their walk of life.
I so wish you could have met my baby Jack, I've told him all about you. You taught me so much in your final weeks and I know you are looking down on everyone with your bright smile and sparkly eyes.
Sleep well sweetheart, life must go on and it will never be the same without you but you will never be forgotten by all those that love you so.
Goodnight darling xxx

.....so sorry for the loss of Helen....
I've just read your tribute to Helen - what a wonderful and brave lady she must have been. I am sure you draw so much strength from how valiant she was in the face of unimaginable adversity. Apart from her wonderful children, Helen very thoughtfully left some wonderful gifts for you all to treasure - in the shape of so many loving, happy memories, which are her gifts to you to keep forever. Helen will be lighting up Heaven now and safe in God's keeping until you are all re-united. Everytime you have a down day - Helen will be sitting beside you encouraging and supporting you. A way too short life - but a fabulous light in all your lives.... God bless you
